Weavering Warriors 20-15 Swanley Men
A great afternoon of rugby was definitely had today. The sun was shining, the Bevy was strong, and despite the swans having a bare 15, the spirits were high.
The swans spent the majority of the day on the defensive and put in a huge shift. Weavering looked very strong in their back line. They had the pace, they had the footwork, and they had the looks. But the Swanley men were not deterred. They pressured the backs attack, phase after phase, leaving them frustrated and angry.
The green and white played the hand they had, with a forward heavy line up, it was a lot of crash balls!!
The warriors took the victory, but the swans were happy with the outcome. With half the squad playing out of position and some new blood having a run out, there were plenty of positives to take away.
Congratulations to @weaveringwarriors
on the win, and we wish you the best this season in your 20th anniversary.

The swans return next week with a trip to Brockelians. Once again, the fun bus will be in action to beat the ULEZ, watch this space for details.
