Old Gravesendians U13's 14 - 8 Swanley U12's
After what seems a lifetime, the Swanley youth are back playing games. Many thanks to our hosts Old Gs who are always welcoming and offering great hospitality.
The lads put in a solid shift over 3 15minute periods of play.
Plenty of phase play with strong rucking displays by both sides meant there was an enjoyable, free flowing game of rugby put on for the exceptional Swanley Bevy that can be found at any of the green and white games.
Old G's had some very strong runners with great footwork who were able to outwit the swans defense but this in no way overlooked the fantastic display of teamwork by the young men. Offloading in the tackles and spotting the overlaps saw the cygnets go over for plenty of well worked trys.
A big thanks to coach Steve, coach Bill and coach Tug Boat for all their hard work getting the lads to this level. They were a credit to themselves and the club today.
We look forward to more of this in the the near future.
