Dartford Valley 2s 0 - 19 Swanley Men
Victory for the swans under the lights in a hard fought game by both sides with smiles and tears from all.
As always the Swanley pack were obliterating the scrums forcing a multitude of penalties, but give with one hand and take with another they were also penalised a lot themselves for consistent high tackles.
This set the tempo for the game resulting in a whopping 6 yellow cards across the board.
The backs faced a big challenge lining up against a mixture of experienced players and young speedsters. But they took it in their stride, pressuring the gain line to force errors and make some great try saving tackles.
The game took a dark turn when our ginger ninja James Davies took a bad tackle and snapped his leg in 2 places, the offending tackler then run off to the sidelines to throw up and seek comfort from his team mate, our thoughts are with him at this difficult time. Also rest up James, you'll do anything for some holiday over Christmas.
All in all was a good day at the office, its inspiring to see the young squad develop week on week and really enjoy their rugby.
As always thanks to the Bevy who braved the cold to cheer on the lads, it wasn't for nothing.

Next week sees the green and white welcome local rivals Bexley RFC to the nest. As much as there is friendship off the pitch its set to be a cracker of a game.
