Another niller thriller!
A really great day at the rec for the whole club. Even with the sideways rain, the Bevy was strong on the side. Being fuelled with hot dogs and cake, they were full of voice to push the lads on.
The game started fairly even, Valley looking really good in the breakdown and showing high levels of aggression and intensity.
The swans weathered the storm and then started to take their chances to put points on the board. The first half ended 10-0 to the swans, but it looked like it could be anyone's game.
As the second half wore on, the cracks really started to show in the valley lads, and the swans were ruthless.
Dominating the tackles, breakdowns, and some inspirational carries, the trys began rolling in.
A good start to the year, with work to be done to continue the form throughout the season.
Special mention to our new centre partnership of Dan Ash and Ben Hemming, both getting on the scoreboard today and their 4th consecutive game together. They really are holding the midfield well.
All the best to the valley boys for the rest of the season. There is a lot of love between some of the black and red and green and white.

The swans return next Saturday, travelling to Guys St Thomas Hospital. If the last game, which finished as a 45-44 loss, is anything to go by, it's going to be a cracker.
